Tom Davenport
Visiting Professor at Saïd Business School @University of Oxford
Tom Davenport is a co-founder and advisor of IIA. He is the President’s Distinguished Professor of IT and Management at Babson College, a research fellow at the MIT Initiative on the Digital Economy, and a Visiting Professor at Oxford’s Said Business School. Tom’s “Competing on Analytics” article was named by Harvard Business Review as one of the ten ‘must read’ articles in HBR’s 100-year history. His most recent book is The AI Advantage (MIT Press), and he has three books on different aspects of AI coming out in 2022.
Bill Franks
Chief Analytics Officer @IIA
Bill Franks is the Director of the Center for Statistics and Analytical Research within the School of Data Science and Analytics at Kennesaw State University. In this role, he helps companies and governmental agencies pair with faculty and student resources to further research in the area of analytics and data science. He is also Chief Analytics Officer for The International Institute For Analytics (IIA) and serves on the advisory boards of Aspirent, ActiveGraf, DataPrime, DataSeers, Kavi Global, and Quaeris.
Brian Sampsel
Vice President of Analytics Strategy @IIA
Brian Sampsel is a Vice President with the International Institute for Analytics, where he leads the Analytics Leadership Consortium which seeks to partner with analytics leaders to share their most pressing challenges and successes, and to learn from their peers through structured, moderated discussions. He possesses a wide breadth of experience across a variety of industries and functions, holding leadership roles on both the client and vendor sides. Brian seeks to help his clients through a consultative and solutions focused mindset, with experience across a breadth of tools and techniques including business analytics, data science, cognitive services and robotic process automation. Brian has a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Cedarville University and a Master's degree in Statistics from Miami University.
